He and his wife of 47 years, Jackie, live on the site of the original Benner family farm, which has been in the family for four generations. They have two children and five grandchildren. Dan is a manufacturing engineer at Spirit Aerosystems and says there are many things he enjoys about Haysville. He especially likes community-wide events like the Fall Festival, July 4th Celebration, and the City-Wide Garage Sale.

    Danny Walters- Ward IV Ward IV - Danny Walters dannydwalters@gmail.com Term Expires Dec. 2025 316.993.7693 Councilperson Walters was elected to the City Council in January of 2018. He and his wife Barbara have lived in Haysville for more than 20 years. They have four grown children, all of whom are graduates of Campus High School. They also have eight grandchildren. Danny is retired from Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. He is also retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service and serves on the Board of Deacons at the Colonial Heights Assembly of God. He enjoys the small town atmosphere offered in Haysville and says it is a great place to raise a family and a good community to retire in. Danny appreciates the opportunity to serve our city, and welcomes questions or concerns from community members.
